Signal Booster Immunostain is a product specially developed for immunostaining. It is a reagent to improve sensitivity and high background. This reagent consists of 3 solutions, each with different characteristics.

Principle

The main component of the signal booster series is a polymer and a component that has a blocking action. By changing the physicochemical properties of the antigen and antibody, the polymer increases the frequency of contact between them and enhances the specific antigen-antibody reaction. On the other hand, a blocking component reduces non-specific binding. As a result, the background is lowered and the specific antigen-antibody reaction is enhanced.

1. Enhances signal and reduces background.
2. Any kind of antibody can be used (Note).
3. Easy to use, simply dilute the antibody at the time of reaction with this reagent.
4. Cheaper than existing products.
(Note: The effect of this reagent may not be sufficient depending on the characteristics of the antibody.)

      • The solution is designed to get more strong signal, and suitable for getting stronger signal regardless of relatively high background.

Staining of Cdk4 (mouse brain paraffin section) 1st Ab: anti-Cdk4(rabbit poly) diluted with Signal Booster (SBI) solution F, PBS or Product A Fixation:4% parafolmaldehyde in PBS Blocking:5%FBS in PBS Stained by ABC (for rabbit) method.
Staining of p53 in A431 cells 1st Ab: anti-p53 (Rabbit poly, FITC conjugated) diluted with Signal Booster (SBI) solution M, PBS or Product A Fixation:4% parafolmaldehyde in PBS Detergent: 0.1% TritonX-100 in PBS Blocking:5%FBS in PBS.
