Description

The High Activity Adult Brain Enzymatic Digestion Kit (Mouse and Rat) utilizes a combined approach of mechanical shearing and enzymatic extracellular matrix digestion to produce highly viable single-cell suspensions from adult mouse and rat brain, hippocampus, cortex, and spinal cord tissues (recommended for animals older than 7 days, typically P9–12 weeks). The optimized formula enables gentle, fast, and efficient dissociation, maximizing cell recovery and viability while preserving critical surface antigen epitopes.

  • Using standardized protocols, viability measured at 93.86% and total cell yield reached 1.03 × 10^6 cells per 100 mg adult mouse brain tissue.

  • Cell diameter analysis: total cells 12.58μm, viable cells 12.63μm, non-viable cells 11.80μm.
