In this sandwich ELISA, Rat Interferon γ,IFN-γ in the sample is captured between a pre-coated capture antibody and a detection antibody. Signal intensity is proportional to analyte concentration. Quantification uses a standard curve fitted with Curve Expert software, covering 31.25 pg/mL-2000 pg/mL with a minimum detectable dose of 15.6 pg/mL.
This ELISA kit provides quantitative measurement of interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) in rat samples, supporting immunological research into Th1-driven immune responses, macrophage activation, and inflammatory signaling. Because IFN-γ is often measured across multiple compartments simultaneously — circulating levels, tissue microenvironments, and in vitro stimulation assays — this kit is designed to accommodate the full scope of such studies.
Detection Range: The 31.25–2000 pg/mL range captures rat IFN-γ concentrations from baseline circulating levels through the elevated concentrations seen in activated splenocyte supernatants or infection models. Samples from ConA- or antigen-stimulated cultures may require dilution, while unstimulated or naïve serum samples typically fall within range without concentration.
