Description
Artificial serum is a serum replacement (supplement for serum-free culture) for the research of regenerative medicine. Generally, when doing cell culture using fetal bovine serum (FBS) or human serum, virus and lot check are required. Our artificial serum enables researchers to skip this burdensome step but can get comparable and stable culture result.
Features
- Serum replacement
- Suitable for human stem cells, adherent or non-adherent human normal cells, and cells lines.
- Tested : (Adherent) Fibroblast, Mesenchymal Stem Cells, and Vero or (Non-adherent) PBMC, DAUDI, etc.
- Small volume (1-5%) of artificial serum gives comparable cell proliferation ability to other serum.
- Two options : Xeno-free or Animal-free

Population doubling level times (PDL) is comparable between human plasma, artificial serum (xeno-free or animal-free), however, higher cell density is observed than human plasma when using our artificial serum, even half concentration was used.

Viable cell density is comparable to the data of 10% human plasma was used.
