Recombinant Renilla luciferase
Cat. No.: SB-G3470-1ML
Size: 1ML
Description
This product, Recombinant Renilla luciferase, is a luciferase derived from Renilla luciferase recombinantly expressed in Escherichia coli, with a molecular weight of about 37 kDa. This enzyme uses coelenterazine as a substrate, catalyzes the oxidation of coelenterazine to generate coelenteramide in the presence of oxygen molecules, and emits bioluminescence with the strongest wavelength around 465nm during the process.
Definition of enzyme activity: at 20-25°C, the amount of enzyme required to produce a relative light unit (RLU) within 10 s is defined as an enzyme activity unit.
Purity and concentration: SDS-PAGE detection purity ≥ 95%, 2 mg/mL.
Enzyme Storage Buffer: 20 mM Tris-HCl, 1 mM DTT, 50% glycerol, pH 8.0.
Storage and transportation
Transport in wet ice packs; store at -20°C, valid for 12 months.
