Description
Liver receptor homologous protein (LRH-1, FTF, CPF, hB1F, FTZ-F1b; NR5A2) is a member of orphan nuclear receptor. LRH-1 is a mammalian homolog of the Drosophila fushi tarazu F1 gene product. LRH-1 is expressed in the liver and intestine. LRH-1 is involved in the regulation of genes which participate in steroid, bile acid and cholesterol homeostasis.
Origin
Produced in BALB/c mouse ascites after inoculation with hybridoma of mouse myeloma cells (NS-1) and spleen cells derived from a BALB/c mouse immunized with Baculovirus-expressed recombinant human LRH-1 (161-280 aa) .
Notes
Sodium azide may react with lead and copper plumbing to form explosive metal azides. Flush with large amounts of water during disposal.
