FluxMPS™ Leibovitz's L-15

FluxMPS™ DCP-LL15-QP2X is an MPS-grade, ultra-filtered Leibovitz's L-15 2X formulation engineered for Primary cells and related cell models on organ-on-a-chip (OoC) and microphysiological system (MPS) platforms. Processed through a Quadruple-stage filtration system (0.1 µm ×2 + 0.04 µm ×2), it delivers approximately 5× lower particulate counts than conventional 0.22 µm–filtered media. CO₂-free by design — uses D-galactose and high amino acid buffering for atmospheric pH maintenance. Formulation: [+] 1.8 g/L D-Galactose | [-] L-Glutamine, [-] Sodium Pyruvate.

  • CO₂-free by design: D-galactose energy source + high amino acid buffering — no gas supplementation required
  • 0.04 µm final nano-filtration — sub-mycoplasma purity; < 0.05 EU/mL endotoxin
  • Quadruple-stage filtration: 0.1 µm pre-I → 0.04 µm pre-II → 0.1 µm sterile-I → 0.04 µm final polish

Why FluxMPS™

Engineered where standard media fails

Conventional 0.22 µm–filtered Leibovitz's passes mycoplasma, subvisible particulates, and endotoxin fragments that interfere with CO₂-free pH maintenance and live imaging clarity. FluxMPS™ eliminates these failure modes.

science

CO₂-free by design formulation

Leibovitz's L-15 uses D-galactose (not glucose) as the primary carbon source and high amino acid concentrations for CO₂-free pH buffering. This is a 2X concentrated formulation.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about FluxMPS™ DCP-LL15-QP2X — Leibovitz's L-15 2X.

DCP-LL15-QP2X is processed through a Quadruple-stage filtration system reaching 0.04 µm final pore size. Leibovitz L-15 CO₂-free design makes it ideal for chip loading, priming, open-stage imaging, and atmospheric OoC platforms where CO₂ control is impractical.
FluxMPS™ uses four sequential filters — 0.1 µm pre-filtration I, 0.04 µm pre-filtration II (mycoplasma barrier), 0.1 µm sterile-filtration I, and 0.04 µm final polish — resulting in approximately 5× fewer particles and confirmed mycoplasma retention at every production stage.
Both nitrogen source (glutamine) and secondary carbon (pyruvate) are removed for independent fresh addition. This enables precise control of both energy substrate and nitrogen in CO₂-free primary cell dissociation, transport, and metabolic studies where individual contributions of glutamine and pyruvate need to be isolated.
CO₂-independent by design — Leibovitz's L-15 uses galactose and high amino acid buffering for CO₂-free pH maintenance. No gas supplementation required..
Yes. Add FBS (5–10%), serum-free supplements, growth factors, or antibiotics as required. Contact support@diagnocine.com for custom co-formulation.
FluxMPS™ DCP-LL15-QP2X is produced to meet < 0.05 EU/mL by LAL assay (USP <85>). For primary cells, endotoxin activates TLR4 altering cell phenotype and differentiation outcomes.
Yes. Full CoA per lot covers: appearance, pH (USP <791>), osmolality (USP <785>), sterility (USP <71>), endotoxin (USP <85>), mycoplasma, particulate count (USP <788> Method 2), and raw-material traceability. Request at support@diagnocine.com.
