Eosin Y Solution
Cat No.: DCP-EY1X
Size: 500 mL
Sterile, Ultrapure, Filtered 0.1-micron membrane TWICE and 0.04-micron membrane ONCE.
Description:
Aqueous Eosin Y 1% Solution is a pH-neutral, alcohol-free histological stain designed for laboratories requiring extended shelf life without compromising cytoplasmic staining clarity. Free of glacial acetic acid, this formulation ensures stable performance while retaining flexibility for on-demand acidification.
Key Features:
- Alcohol-free formulation: Minimizes tissue distortion, ideal for delicate samples (e.g., renal biopsies, cytology smears).
- No acetic acid: Maximizes shelf life and reduces precipitation risk.
- Pre-filtered: 0.04 µm membrane-filtered to remove particulates, ensuring stain clarity.
Applications:
1. Routine Histology
- H&E workflows: Counterstain nuclei post-hematoxylin with minimal cytoplasmic overstaining.
- Connective tissue studies: Highlights collagen, muscle, and elastic fibers in pink-red hues.
2. Specialized Techniques
- Immunohistochemistry (IHC): Compatible with chromogen-based protocols (e.g., DAB).
- Educational use: Ideal for teaching labs due to extended usability.

CUSTOMIZATION: Please INQUIRE if other concentrations, additions of chemicals/compounds/proteins/supplements, different pH, and modifications are needed.
All DiagnoCine Precision Sterile buffers are filtered-sterilized with a 0.1-micron filtration two times and 0.04-micron filtration one time. Thus, mycoplasma contamination is prevented. The smallest size mycoplasma type can be about 0.2 microns.
