Engineered where standard media fails
Conventional 0.22 µm-filtered media carry mycoplasma-sized particulates (0.2–0.3 µm), subvisible debris, and variable endotoxin loads that accumulate inside microchannels — corrupting biosensor readings and shortening device lifetimes. FluxMPS™ addresses these failure modes with a validated four-stage filtration train.
Microchannel-safe purity
0.04 µm final filter retains particles down to sub-mycoplasma size; USP <788> Method 1 particulate compliance verified per lot.
Total metabolic control
Precisely controlled glucose (3151 mg/L), L-glutamine (365 mg/L), and sodium pyruvate (110 mg/L) concentrations support reproducible metabolic flux experiments.
Ultrapure-grade water
Prepared with Type 1 water (18.2 MΩ·cm), with trace-metal and organic-carbon (TOC) control minimizing background contamination.
Low background for imaging
Low particulate baseline supports clean signal-to-noise for confocal microscopy, live-cell biosensors, and TEER measurements.
Rich, stable nutrient profile
Micro-batch precision locks in amino acid and vitamin concentrations for lot-to-lot reproducibility in long-term perfusion studies.
Customization on demand
pH, glucose, salts, HEPES, and full nutrient composition available on request. Contact support@diagnocine.com.
Quadruple-stage filtration system
FluxMPS™ Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium/ Ham’s F-12 Nutrient Mixture (DMEM/F-12) (1:1) with Trace Elements & 15mM HEPES w/o Phenol Red: 1X Liquid is processed through a four-stage serial filtration sequence reaching 0.04 µm — two dedicated prefilter + final-filter pairs run in series, addressing mycoplasma-sized and subvisible particulates that 0.22 µm filtration cannot remove.
-
1
0.1 µm Prefiltration I
Removes large particulates, cell debris, and protein aggregates; protects the first 0.04 µm cartridge.
-
2
0.04 µm Final filtration I
First 0.04 µm pass; retains sub-micron particulates and mycoplasma-sized material that pass a 0.22 µm filter.
-
3
0.1 µm Prefiltration II
Second dedicated prefilter, protecting the second 0.04 µm cartridge from load carried over from Stage 2.
-
4
0.04 µm Final filtration II — Polish
Ultimate polishing filter; aseptic fill & finish in a validated ISO Class 5 laminar-flow workstation.
Performance vs. conventional media
Four sequential stages reaching 0.04 µm deliver approximately 5× cleaner media by particulate count compared to single-pass 0.22 µm filtration, with USP <788> Method 1 compliance verified on every lot.

Micro Physiological System (MPS) & Chip
Ultra-filtered formulation prevents microchannel clogging and maintains laminar flow integrity.
Warburg Effect & Metabolic Research
Defined glucose and glutamine levels with a low, controlled endotoxin background enable precise metabolic flux analysis.
iPSC-Derived Models
Ultrapure formulation supports sensitive iPSC differentiation protocols where endotoxin causes off-target effects.
Endothelial & Primary Cells
Microchannel-safe purity essential for maintaining endothelial barrier integrity and TEER values.
Metabolic Flux Analysis
Chemically defined glucose, glutamine, and pyruvate levels support isotope tracing studies. Not compatible with Agilent Seahorse XF assays, which require bicarbonate-free, phenol red-free medium; this formulation contains sodium bicarbonate.
Microscopy & Optical Sensing
Low particulate load and phenol red-free formulation support confocal imaging and biosensor integration.
