Why FluxMPS™

Engineered where standard RNA buffers fail

Conventional 0.22 µm-filtered buffers can carry subvisible particulates, adventitious nucleases, and microbial bioburden that compromise sensitive RNA workflows. UltraClean PVSA-HEPES, 1X is manufactured from molecular biology-grade HEPES and PVSA, finely filtered to minimize particulates, microbial contamination, and adventitious nucleases, so RNA integrity is protected from resuspension through downstream analysis.

filter_alt

Microchannel-safe purity

Quadruple-stage 0.1 µm and 0.04 µm membrane filtration minimizes particulates and microbial contamination for microfluidic and chip-based RNA workflows.

target

Precise, stable pH

A defined 20 mM HEPES system delivers pH 7.4 buffering for near-physiological, RNA-compatible handling conditions.

Purity Architecture

Quadruple-stage filtration system

UltraClean PVSA-HEPES, 1X is sterile-filtered through a 0.1-micron membrane twice and a 0.04-micron membrane twice, a quadruple-stage architecture engineered to minimize particulates, bioburden, and adventitious nucleases for RNA- and DNA-sensitive workflows.

  1. 1

    0.1 µm Pre-filtration I

Large particulate and aggregate removal, extending the service life of downstream filters.

  2. 2

    0.04 µm Pre-filtration II

Retention of fine particulates and bioburden ahead of final sterile filtration.

  3. 3

    0.1 µm Sterile-filtration I

Second-pass 0.1-micron membrane redundancy to reinforce sterility assurance.

  4. 4

    0.04 µm Sterile-filtration II — Final Polish

Second-pass 0.04-micron membrane polish. Mycoplasma organisms are typically about 0.2 microns in size, so this final polish supports mycoplasma-controlled, RNase-safe buffer for RNA and DNA handling.

Performance vs. conventional buffer

Where conventional laboratory buffers commonly rely on a single 0.22-micron filtration pass, UltraClean PVSA-HEPES, 1X undergoes sequential 0.1-micron and 0.04-micron membrane filtration, each applied twice, to reduce particulates and bioburden beyond what single-stage filtration achieves and to support RNase-safe, mycoplasma-controlled handling of RNA and DNA samples.
