- World’s cleanest RNase-safe buffer for RNA handling, cell, and molecular biology experiments
Description:
DEPC-EDTA Solution Buffer is a ready-to-use, DEPC-treated chelating buffer formulated to help protect RNA and DNA from degradation by divalent-cation–dependent nucleases. It provides a low-millimolar concentration of disodium EDTA in a nuclease-controlled aqueous solution, making it suitable for direct use in nucleic acid handling and storage workflows without further dilution.
Applications:
- RNase/DNase Control Buffer: Used directly or blended with other reagents to limit divalent?cation–dependent nuclease activity in RNA and DNA workflows.
- Nucleic Acid Storage: Buffer for short- or medium-term storage of RNA and DNA.
- Sample Handling and Preparation: Diluent or wash buffer in procedures where metal-dependent nuclease activity must be minimized.
- General Molecular Biology: Any procedure requiring a ready-to-use EDTA-based buffer in a nuclease-controlled format.
Advantages:
- Nuclease Protection: Chelates divalent cations to help inhibit many metal-dependent nucleases.
- DEPC-Treated: Prepared using DEPC-treated components and nuclease-free water to reduce RNase contamination.
- High Purity: Manufactured from molecular biology–grade reagents and finely filtered to minimize particulates and microbial burden.
- Ready-to-Use 1X: Supplied at working strength, reducing preparation time and variability.
- Workflow-Friendly: EDTA level and format designed for easy integration into common nucleic acid handling protocols.

All DiagnoCine Precision Sterile buffers are filtered-sterilized with a 0.1-micron filtration and 0.04-micron filtration twice. Thus, mycoplasma contamination is prevented. The smallest size mycoplasma type can be about 0.2 microns.
