Engineered where standard media fails
Conventional 0.22 µm–filtered media passes mycoplasma-sized particles, subvisible particulates, and aggregate debris that clog microfluidic channels and interfere with sensor signals. FluxMPS™ is built on four-stage sub-0.04 µm filtration to address these failure modes.
Microchannel-safe purity
0.04 µm final filtration and USP <788> Method 1 (light obscuration) particulate compliance support safe perfusion across a range of microchannel geometries.
Total metabolic control
Selective inclusion/exclusion of glutamine, pyruvate, bicarbonate, and calcium chloride for precise nutrient and buffer definition per protocol.
Ultrapure-grade water
Ultrapure Type 1 water (18.2 MΩ·cm) with controlled trace-metal and organic-carbon content for consistent raw-material quality lot to lot.
Low background for imaging
Ultra-low particulate baseline supports confocal microscopy and biosensor applications; this formulation contains phenol red, so optical background should be evaluated per protocol.
Rich, stable nutrient profile
45 ingredients verified per lot across inorganic salts, amino acids, vitamins, and other components; micro-batch production with full traceability.
Customization on demand
pH, glucose, salts, and nutrients adjustable per your protocol. Contact support@diagnocine.com.
Quadruple-stage filtration system
Four serial filtration stages reach a final 0.04 µm polish, delivering sub-mycoplasma-sized particulate reduction not achieved by single-stage 0.22 µm filtration.
-
1
0.1 µm Prefiltration I
Removes large aggregates, cell debris, and protein particulates; protects the first 0.04 µm final filter cartridge.
-
2
0.04 µm Final filtration I
Retains sub-micron particulates and mycoplasma-sized organisms (0.2–0.3 µm) that pass a standard 0.22 µm filter.
-
3
0.1 µm Prefiltration II
A second dedicated prefilter protects the second 0.04 µm final-filter cartridge.
-
4
0.04 µm Final filtration II — Polish
Ultimate polishing filter under ISO Class 5 (Class 100) aseptic fill & finish conditions.
Performance vs. conventional media
© Diagnocine® — DCP-H12-C1X
Designed for next-generation cell models
FluxMPS™ DCP-H12-C1X supports platforms from single-channel microfluidic chips to multi-organ body-on-a-chip systems, and calcium-free protocols requiring precise extracellular calcium control.
Automated Bioreactors & Robotics
An optional 0.01 µm (10 nm) ultra-filtered MPS Grade variant is available on request for automated bioreactor perfusion and robotic liquid handlers.
- Total Particulate Exclusion: 10 nm filtration removes nanoparticulate aggregates
- Valve & Sensor Protection: Reduces micro-fouling risk on solenoid valves and inline optical sensors
- Extended Perfusion Stability: Consistent nutrient delivery over weeks-long culture
Inquiry Required: Contact support@diagnocine.com for the 0.01 µm MPS Grade variant.
Micro Physiological System (MPS) & Chip
0.04 µm–filtered media reduces microchannel clogging risk in complex multi-organ chip architectures.
Calcium-Free Dissociation Protocols
Calcium chloride is not added, supporting enzymatic cell dissociation and protocols requiring calcium-free extracellular conditions.
iPSC-Derived Models
Low endotoxin release specification (< 0.05 EU/mL) supports sensitive iPSC differentiation and maintenance protocols.
Endothelial & Primary Cells
Low-particulate, endotoxin-controlled media supports HUVEC monolayer integrity and calcium-signaling studies.
Metabolic Flux Analysis
Defined formulation supports ¹³C isotope tracing and NMR metabolomics workflows. Not compatible with Agilent Seahorse XF assays, which require bicarbonate-free, phenol red-free medium.
Microscopy & Optical Sensing
Low particulate baseline supports confocal microscopy and biosensor platforms; contains phenol red, so background fluorescence should be assessed per application.
