FluxMPS™ Ham's F-10

FluxMPS™ DCP-H10H-B1X is an MPS-grade, ultra-filtered Ham's F-10 + 25mM HEPES formulation engineered for CHO cells and related cell models on organ-on-a-chip (OoC) and microphysiological system (MPS) platforms. Processed through a Quadruple-stage filtration system (0.1 µm ×2 + 0.04 µm ×2), it delivers approximately 5× lower particulate counts than conventional 0.22 µm–filtered media. HEPES (25 mM, pKa 7.3 at 37°C) provides robust pH buffering. Formulation: [+] 1100 mg/L Glucose, [+] L-Glutamine, [+] Sodium Pyruvate, [+] 25mM HEPES | [-] Sodium Bicarbonate.

  • Glucose source: 1100 mg/L (1.1 g/L)
  • 25 mM HEPES (pKa 7.3 at 37°C) — robust pH buffering independent of CO₂
  • Zinc, hypoxanthine, thymidine, lipoic acid — trace nutrients supporting CHO and primary fibroblast clonal growth
  • 0.04 µm final nano-filtration — sub-mycoplasma purity; < 0.05 EU/mL endotoxin
  • Quadruple-stage filtration: 0.1 µm pre-I → 0.04 µm pre-II → 0.1 µm sterile-I → 0.04 µm final polish

Why FluxMPS™

Engineered where standard media fails

Conventional 0.22 µm–filtered Ham's passes mycoplasma, subvisible particulates, and endotoxin fragments that clog microfluidic channels and activate innate immune signaling. FluxMPS™ eliminates these failure modes.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about FluxMPS™ DCP-H10H-B1X — Ham's F-10 + 25mM HEPES.

DCP-H10H-B1X is processed through a Quadruple-stage filtration system reaching 0.04 µm final pore size. Ham's F-10 + 25mM HEPES with 0.04 µm filtration delivers sub-mycoplasma purity for specialized OoC models requiring this medium formulation.
FluxMPS™ uses four sequential filters — 0.1 µm pre-filtration I, 0.04 µm pre-filtration II (mycoplasma barrier), 0.1 µm sterile-filtration I, and 0.04 µm final polish — resulting in approximately 5× fewer particles and confirmed mycoplasma retention at every production stage.
HEPES alone (25 mM) provides all pH buffering without CO₂. Enables fully CO₂-independent CHO and primary fibroblast culture for atmospheric incubators, open-top chip systems, and automated bioreactors where CO₂ control between batches is challenging.
CO₂-independent — HEPES alone maintains pH without gas supplementation.
Yes. Add FBS (5–10%), serum-free supplements, growth factors, or antibiotics as required. Contact support@diagnocine.com for custom co-formulation.
FluxMPS™ DCP-H10H-B1X is produced to meet < 0.05 EU/mL by LAL assay (USP <85>). For primary cells, endotoxin activates TLR4 altering cell phenotype and differentiation outcomes.
Yes. Full CoA per lot covers: appearance, pH (USP <791>), osmolality (USP <785>), sterility (USP <71>), endotoxin (USP <85>), mycoplasma, particulate count (USP <788> Method 2), and raw-material traceability. Request at support@diagnocine.com.
