Engineered where standard media fails
Conventional 0.22 µm-filtered media carry mycoplasma-sized particulates (0.2–0.3 µm), subvisible debris, and variable endotoxin levels that accumulate inside microchannels — corrupting biosensor readings, triggering inflammation in primary cultures, and shortening device lifetimes. FluxMPS™ is engineered to address these failure modes at the source.
Microchannel-safe purity
0.04 µm final filter retains particles down to sub-mycoplasma size; USP <788> Method 1 (light obscuration) particulate compliance verified per lot.
Total metabolic control
Defined carbon source (3151 mg/L glucose) and precise nutrient concentrations support metabolic flux experiments and Warburg-related applications.
Ultrapure-grade water
Prepared with Type 1 water (18.2 MΩ·cm) under strict trace-metal and total organic carbon (TOC) control for consistent, reproducible culture performance.
Low background for imaging
Quadruple-stage filtration reduces particulate background — supporting confocal microscopy, live-cell biosensor integration, and TEER measurements.
Rich, stable nutrient profile
Micro-batch precision manufacturing locks in amino acid and vitamin concentrations for lot-to-lot reproducibility in long-term perfusion studies.
Customization on demand
pH, glucose, salts, HEPES, and full nutrient composition available on request. Contact support@diagnocine.com.
Quadruple-stage filtration system
FluxMPS™ Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium/ Ham’s F-12 Nutrient Mixture (DMEM/F-12) (1:1) with Trace Elements w/o Sodium Bicarbonate: 1X Liquid is processed through a four-stage serial filtration sequence reaching 0.04 µm — substantially reducing mycoplasma-sized particulates and subvisible particles that 0.22 µm filtration cannot address.
-
1
0.1 µm Prefiltration I
Removes large particulates, cell debris, and protein aggregates; protects the first 0.04 µm cartridge downstream.
-
2
0.04 µm Final filtration I
Retains sub-micron particulates and microaggregates, including mycoplasma-sized particles (0.2–0.3 µm), that pass a 0.22 µm filter.
-
3
0.1 µm Prefiltration II
A second, dedicated prefilter protecting the second 0.04 µm cartridge and providing filtration-train redundancy.
-
4
0.04 µm Final filtration II — Polish
Ultimate polishing filter; aseptic fill & finish in an ISO Class 5 laminar-flow workstation.
Performance vs. conventional media
Four sequential stages reaching 0.04 µm deliver approximately 5× cleaner media by particulate count compared to single-pass 0.22 µm filtration, with USP <788> Method 1 compliance verified on every lot.

Micro Physiological System (MPS) & Chip
Ultra-filtered formulation supports laminar flow integrity and reduces microchannel clogging risk.
Warburg Effect & Metabolic Research
Defined carbon source (3151 mg/L glucose) and a controlled endotoxin release specification support precise metabolic flux analysis.
iPSC-Derived Models
Ultra-filtered formulation supports sensitive iPSC differentiation protocols where endotoxin variability causes off-target effects.
Endothelial & Primary Cells
Microchannel-safe purity supports endothelial barrier integrity and TEER measurement stability.
Metabolic Flux Analysis
Defined glucose (3151 mg/L), sodium pyruvate (110 mg/L), and L-glutamine (365 mg/L) concentrations support designed metabolic flux and isotope-tracing protocols; users may substitute a labeled tracer for the standard carbon source as needed. Not compatible with Agilent Seahorse XF assays, which require bicarbonate-free, phenol red-free medium.
Microscopy & Optical Sensing
Quadruple-stage filtration minimizes particulate background for confocal imaging, biosensor integration, and TEER measurements.
