World’s cleanest buffer for all cell and molecular biology experiments
PBS Tween 20 buffer is a widely used wash solution for various immunoassays and antibody-based techniques. Tween 20 acts as a non-ionic detergent-based blocking agent, preventing the non-specific binding of antibodies or proteins to surfaces like microplate wells or membranes. This effect reduces background noise and increases the signal of interest. This reduces background noise and improves signal detection in ELISA and Western blotting assays. It is a non-ionic detergent that helps to disrupt non-specific protein-protein interactions during washing steps, enhancing the removal of unbound proteins or antibodies. It also reduces surface tension, allowing for better penetration and removal of unbound molecules.
Advantages:
-
It reduces non-specific binding.
-
It disrupts protein-protein interactions.
-
It improves washing efficiency.
-
It promotes reagent spreading.
-
It helps to maintain protein stability.
Applications:
-
Washing membranes and microplate wells in ELISA and Western blotting.
-
It is used as a blocking buffer for plate-based assays.

All DiagnoCine Precision Sterile buffers are filtered-sterilized with a 0.1-micron filtration two times and 0.04-micron filtration two times. Thus, mycoplasma contamination is prevented. The smallest size mycoplasma type can be about 0.2 microns.
