Description
Ice On is a sample tube cooler (rack), made of Aluminium. Tube walls adhere tightly to rack, therefore tubes are more guickly cooled than when put onto ice directly. Moreover, tubes are maintained at low temperature.
Aluminum made rack for Refrigeration of sample tubes, Material : Aluminum die cast, 169 x 69 x 47mm 300g, 24 tubes of 1.5ml (3 x 8).
Placing the tube in ice-on and setting it on ice will cool the sample solution in the tube faster and keep it cooler than putting the tube directly on ice. There are 1 and 2 types of ice on.

Common in Type 1 and Type 2
- Tubes will not be touched directly with water and ice
- Made of aluminum and its surface is processed not to be rusted for the long time use.
- Compactly designed just like putting into the small bucket.
- Can be piled on and in a refrigerator or freezer, they can be used as racks of sample tubes.
Type 1 Feature:
- Can contain 24 tubes of 1.5 ml
- Numbers (1-8) and alphabets (A to C) are inscribed on the surface. Easy to be sortedout in order.
Type 2 Features:
- Can contain 96 tubes of 0.2 ml or 12x0.2 ml 8-tube strips or 8x0.2 ml 12-tube strips or 1x0.2 ml 96-well plate and 6 tubes of 0.5ml and 4 tubes of 1.5 ml.
Easy to be separated from tubes of 1.5 ml or of 0.5ml to tubes of0.2 ml.

Better effect can be obtained than direct insertion of the tubes into the ice.
Just putting the tubes into the ICE ON and setting it on ice will make quicker refrigeration and the temperature of the sample liquid can be maintained lower.
In Case of direct insertion of the sample tubes into ice:
Even in the crashed ice, air space can be born between tubes and ice, which makes the sample tubes bad effectiveness in refrigeration.
In Case of setting the rack on ice after putting the sample tubes in ICE ON:
Because of its good conductivity of aluminum made ICE ON, wherever the part of it being touched with ice, the temperature of ice will quickly be transmitted to the restof the parts of rack.
As the tubes and its aluminum part are being touched without any space, same effectiveness can be obtained just like no space being existed between ice and whole parts of tube and consequently refrigeration effectiveness becomes good and the temperature of the sample liquid of the tubes inside the ICE ON becomes lower than the one you put them directly into ice. (Same condition as you just put the tubes into ice and water.)
