Description
This product is a seminal fluid suitable for bovine in vitro fertilization (IVF) with some modifications based on the seminal fluid for in vitro fertilization (BO fluid) reported by Brackett and Oliphant (1975). Hepes is added to stabilize the pH, and heparin, caffeine, and bovine serum albumin, which are effective in increasing fertilization rates and capacitation, are also added. This ready-to-use product eliminates the need for medium preparation; it can be dispensed directly from the bottle.
