Description

Estrogen-related receptor alpha (ERRa, ERR1, ESRL1; NR3B1) is a member of orphan nuclear receptor. ERRa is expressed in liver, kidney, brain, heart, uterus, vagina and cervix. The protein is expressed with a major 53 kDa in the reproductive tissues. ERRa takes part at the cell cycle and the fatty acid metabolizing of the musculus skeleti. ERRa was shown to interact with ERa.

Origin

Produced in BALB/c mouse ascites after inoculation with hybridoma of mouse myeloma cells (NS-1) and spleen cells derived from a BALB/c mouse immunized with Baculovirus-expressed recombinant human ERR alpha1 (98-171 aa) .

Note
Sodium azide may react with lead and copper plumbing to form explosive metal azides. Flush with large amounts of water during disposal.
