Dual-pass 0.1 µm filtration system

DCP-T1UH2O-500S undergoes two sequential 0.1 µm membrane filtration passes as the final steps of a multi-stage purification process that also includes demineralization, deionization, and endotoxin detoxification, delivering Type 1 ultrapure water suitable for microfluidic and organ-on-a-chip workflows.

    0.1 µm Pre-Filtration

    Following demineralization and deionization, the water passes through a 0.1 µm membrane filter to remove particulates ahead of final sterilization.

    0.1 µm Final Sterile Filtration

    A second 0.1 µm membrane pass (2X total) completes the sterilization process, reaching a water purity of 0.015 to 0.005 microSiemens/cm.

As produced, Non-pH Adjusted water reads pH 4.5 to pH 5, as is typical for all Type 1 ultrapure water. A NaOH pH-adjusted option at pH 7.4 is also available for protocols requiring physiological pH.
