RNAsecure Solution (5 mL) is a specialized reagent designed for protecting and preserving RNA samples
Applications:
- Irreversibly inactivates RNases in solution, protecting RNA samples from degradation
- Can be used to stabilize RNA in various tissue types, including brain, heart, kidney, liver, lung, and cultured cells
- Used for resuspending RNA pellets that may contain trace amounts of ribonuclease
- Can be added to solutions as part of reactions like in vitro transcription and RT-PCR, prior to adding enzymes
- Helps create and maintain an RNase-free environment for RNA work
- Can be used to treat solutions that come into contact with RNA, including those that cannot be treated with DEPC (e.g., Tris-containing buffers)
- No post-treatment autoclaving required, unlike DEPC treatment
- Can be used on virtually any solution, providing more versatility than DEPC
- Inactivation process can be repeated by reheating to eliminate newly introduced contaminants
Features:
