Why FluxMPS™

Engineered where standard buffers fail

Conventional 0.22 µm-filtered buffers can carry subvisible particulates, adventitious nucleases, and microbial contamination that accumulate in microchannels, degrade RNA integrity, and elevate assay background. UltraClean PVSA-PIPES, 1X is built to remove those failure modes at the source.

filter_alt

Microchannel-safe purity

Final-stage 0.04 µm membrane filtration minimizes particulate carryover for narrow-bore microfluidic channels and organ-on-a-chip devices.

target

Precise, stable pH

1X PIPES buffering delivers a defined pH of 7.4, supporting consistent handling conditions for RNA and DNA across sample prep steps.

water_drop

Ultrapure-grade water

Formulated with ultrapure, nuclease-free water to reduce background nuclease activity and support RNA stability.

visibility

Low background for sensitive workflows

Purity Architecture

Quadruple-stage filtration system

UltraClean PVSA-PIPES, 1X is filtered through a 0.1 µm membrane twice and a 0.04 µm membrane twice, sequentially removing coarse and fine particulates ahead of the final sterile fill.

  1. 1

    0.1 µm Pre-filtration I

First-pass 0.1 µm membrane filtration removes large particulates and aggregates, extending the working life of the downstream filters.

  2. 2

    0.04 µm Pre-filtration II

First-pass 0.04 µm membrane filtration retains fine particulates and bioburden ahead of the final sterile-filtration passes.

  3. 3

    0.1 µm Sterile-filtration I

Second-pass 0.1 µm membrane filtration provides redundancy ahead of the final 0.04 µm polish.

  4. 4

    0.04 µm Sterile-filtration II — Final Polish

Second-pass 0.04 µm membrane filtration delivers the final polish. Because the smallest mycoplasma type can be about 0.2 microns, this final pore size is designed to help prevent mycoplasma contamination.

Performance vs. conventional buffer

Sequential 0.1 µm and 0.04 µm filtration, applied twice each, removes finer particulates and bioburden than a single conventional 0.22 µm pass, supporting cleaner handling of RNA-containing samples in narrow microfluidic channels.
