Description:

This thermostable enzyme obtained from hyper-thermophilic microorganisms have some unique characteristics such as highly stable and durable for long term use.

Activity Measurement:

Reaction mix (50 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.5 @ 25 ℃), 0.5 mM Oxaloacetate, 0.3 mM NADH and appropriate amount of the enzyme) was incubated at 37℃ and A₃₄₀ was monitored. One unit is defined as the amount of the enzyme oxidizing 1 μmol of NADH (ε₃₄₀=6.22 mM^-1 cm^-1 ) per 1 minute using Oxaloacetate as a substrate.
