FluxMPS™ Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM), Low Glucose w/o L-Glutamine, Sodium Pyruvate, Sodium Bicarbonate: 1X Liquid
FluxMPS™ DCP-DMEML-QPB1X is a Microfluidics Suitable, Quadruple-stage ultra-filtered (0.1 µm ×2 + 0.04 µm ×2) 1X liquid Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium, Low Glucose formulation engineered for microphysiological systems (MPS), organ-on-a-chip (OoC), and microfluidic tissue models. Formulated without L-Glutamine, Sodium Pyruvate, and Sodium Bicarbonate, it hands researchers full control over nitrogen source, secondary carbon source, and buffering chemistry. Final filtration reaches a 0.04 µm pore size across four sequential passes — well beyond the 0.22 µm standard used by conventional cell culture media.
- Quadruple-stage filtration (0.1 µm ×2 + 0.04 µm ×2) reaching a 0.04 µm final pore size for microfluidic channel safety
- Endotoxin release specification: less than 0.05 EU/mL (LAL, USP <85>), tested per manufacturing batch
- Low Glucose formulation (1000 mg/L D-Glucose) supplied without L-Glutamine, Sodium Pyruvate, or Sodium Bicarbonate for researcher-defined metabolic and buffer control
- CO₂-independent as supplied; add HEPES or another organic buffer for pH control outside a CO₂ incubator
- Contains phenol red (15.9 mg/L) as a visual pH indicator, plus standard calcium and magnesium salt concentrations
- Manufactured under an ISO 13485:2016 quality management system with a per-lot Certificate of Analysis
- Custom pH, salts, and nutrient adjustments available on request — contact support@diagnocine.com

Engineered where standard media fails
Conventional 0.22 µm–filtered media passes mycoplasma-scale particles, subvisible particulates, and endotoxin-bearing debris that clog microfluidic channels and corrupt sensor signals. FluxMPS™ addresses these failure modes with four-stage filtration down to a 0.04 µm final pore size.[1,2]
Microchannel-safe purity
0.04 µm final filtration with USP <788> particulate compliance supports safe perfusion across chip geometries.
Total metabolic control
This Low Glucose formulation excludes L-glutamine, sodium pyruvate, and sodium bicarbonate, giving you full control over nitrogen source, secondary carbon source, and CO₂/buffer chemistry.
Ultrapure-grade water
Ultrapure Type 1 water (18.2 MΩ·cm) with tightly controlled trace-metal and total organic carbon (TOC) levels, supporting sensitive optical and electrophysiological assay platforms.
Low background for imaging
Ultra-low particulate baseline supports confocal microscopy and biosensor platforms. This formulation contains phenol red (15.9 mg/L) as a pH indicator; phenol red–free variants are available on request for autofluorescence-sensitive assays.
Rich, stable nutrient profile
30 ingredients verified per lot; micro-batch production with full traceability.
Customization on demand
pH, glucose, salts, HEPES, and nutrients adjustable per your protocol. Contact support@diagnocine.com.
Quadruple-stage filtration system
Four serial filtration passes reach a final 0.04 µm polish — two dedicated prefilter-plus-final-filter pairs run in series, delivering microfluidic-channel-safe purity beyond what a single 0.22 µm pass can achieve.
-
1
0.1 µm Prefiltration I — Large Particulate Removal
Removes large aggregates and particulates; protects the first 0.04 µm final filter cartridge.
-
2
0.04 µm Final Filtration I
Retains sub-micron particulates and mycoplasma-scale organisms (0.2–0.3 µm) that pass a standard 0.22 µm filter.
-
3
0.1 µm Prefiltration II
Second dedicated prefilter protecting the second 0.04 µm final filter cartridge.
-
4
0.04 µm Final Filtration II — Polish
Ultimate polishing filter; aseptic fill & finish in a validated ISO Class 5 (Class 100) environment.
Performance vs. conventional media
A quadruple-stage train (0.1 µm ×2 + 0.04 µm ×2) reaches a 0.04 µm final cut-off, five times finer than the 0.22 µm membranes used for conventional sterile filtration.
