Engineered where standard media fails
Conventional 0.22 µm filtered media allows mycoplasma (0.2–0.3 µm) and sub-visible particulates to pass freely — clogging microchannels and complicating long-duration culture. FluxMPS™ closes that gap with a validated 0.04 µm final filtration.
Microchannel-safe purity
A 0.04 µm final filter reduces particulate load relative to standard 0.22 µm media, supporting unobstructed flow in narrow microfluidic channels.
Total metabolic control
Defined glucose, glutamine and pyruvate levels support Warburg-effect studies, glycolysis/OXPHOS flux analysis, and ¹³C metabolic tracing.
Ultrapure-grade water
Prepared with Ultrapure Type 1 water (18.2 MΩ·cm) for trace-metal and organic-carbon control, reducing an important source of lot-to-lot variability.
Low background for imaging
Ultra-low particulate baseline supports confocal live-cell imaging, fluorescent biosensors, and automated high-content analysis on chip. This formulation contains phenol red and riboflavin; consider a phenol-red-free variant for assays sensitive to background absorbance or autofluorescence.
Rich, stable nutrient profile
4× BME amino acid and vitamin concentrations with micro-batch precision — consistent lot-to-lot performance for long-duration culture.
Customization on demand
pH, glucose, HEPES, salts, and nutrients adjusted on request. Contact support@diagnocine.com.
Quadruple-stage filtration system
DCP-DMF12H-BT1X is manufactured through a validated four-stage sequential filtration train reaching a final pore size of 0.04 µm, engineered for microfluidic channels and organ-on-a-chip (OoC) applications.
-
1
0.1 µm Prefiltration I
Removes large particulates, cell debris, and protein aggregates. Protects the first 0.04 µm final filter cartridge.
-
2
0.04 µm Final filtration I
Retains sub-micron particulates and microaggregates that pass a standard 0.22 µm filter.
-
3
0.1 µm Prefiltration II
Second dedicated prefilter protecting the second 0.04 µm final filter cartridge.
-
4
0.04 µm Final filtration II — Polish
Ultimate polishing filter; aseptic fill and finish in an ISO Class 5 (Class 100) laminar-flow workstation.
Filtration architecture
The train runs as two redundant prefilter/final-filter pairs in series — each 0.04 µm final filter is protected by its own dedicated 0.1 µm prefilter, rather than a single descending cascade.
