Engineered where standard media fails
Conventional 0.22 µm-filtered media carry mycoplasma-scale particulates (0.2–0.3 µm), subvisible debris, and inconsistent endotoxin levels that accumulate inside microchannels — corrupting biosensor readings, triggering inflammation in primary cultures, and shortening device lifetimes. FluxMPS™ is engineered to reduce these failure modes at the source.
Microchannel-safe purity
0.04 µm final filter retains particles to sub-mycoplasma size; USP <788> particulate compliance verified per lot.
Total metabolic control
Defined carbon source and precise nutrient concentrations support metabolic flux experiments and Warburg-effect research.
Ultrapure-grade water
Prepared with Type 1 water (18.2 MΩ·cm) under controlled trace-metal and total organic carbon (TOC) limits, supporting consistent formulation lot-to-lot.
Low background for imaging
Low particulate baseline from 0.04 µm final filtration minimizes optical scatter artifacts — supporting confocal microscopy, live-cell biosensors, and TEER measurements. Note: this formulation contains riboflavin, which contributes native fluorescence; validate imaging channels accordingly.
Rich, stable nutrient profile
Micro-batch precision locks in amino acid and vitamin concentrations for lot-to-lot reproducibility in long-term perfusion studies.
Customization on demand
pH, glucose, salts, HEPES, and full nutrient composition available on request. Contact support@diagnocine.com.
Quadruple-stage filtration system
FluxMPS™ Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium/ Ham’s F-12 Nutrient Mixture (DMEM/F-12) (1:1) with Trace Elements w/o Phenol Red: 1X Liquid is processed through a four-stage serial filtration train reaching 0.04 µm, reducing subvisible particulates and mycoplasma-scale contaminants that 0.22 µm filtration cannot address.
-
1
0.1 µm Prefiltration I
Removes large particulates, cell debris, and protein aggregates; protects the first 0.04 µm cartridge.
-
2
0.04 µm Final filtration I
First 0.04 µm pass; retains sub-micron particulates and mycoplasma-scale organisms (0.2–0.3 µm) that pass a 0.22 µm filter.
-
3
0.1 µm Prefiltration II
Second dedicated prefilter, protecting the second 0.04 µm cartridge from breakthrough.
-
4
0.04 µm Final filtration II — Polish
Ultimate polishing filter; ISO Class 5 aseptic fill and finish in a validated laminar-flow workstation.
Performance vs. conventional media
Four sequential stages reaching 0.04 µm deliver approximately 5× cleaner media by particulate count compared to single-pass 0.22 µm filtration, with USP <788> compliance verified on every lot.

Ultra-filtered formulation prevents microchannel clogging and maintains laminar flow integrity.
Warburg Effect & Metabolic Research
Defined carbon source and controlled endotoxin background enables precise metabolic flux analysis.
iPSC-Derived Models
Ultrafiltered formulation supports sensitive iPSC differentiation protocols where endotoxin variation causes off-target effects.
Endothelial & Primary Cells
Microchannel-safe purity supports endothelial barrier integrity and TEER measurements.
Metabolic Flux Analysis
Chemically defined base supports isotope tracing. Note: this formulation contains sodium bicarbonate and is not compatible with Agilent Seahorse XF assays, which require bicarbonate-free, phenol red-free medium.
