DNA, Salmon Sperm, Sonicated
Cat. No. F012
Store at -20°C
Size : 1 ml / tube F012 1 ml
Concentration: 10 mg/ml
Salmon Sperm DNA was shared by sonication. DNA is dissolved in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0), 1 mM EDTA. Sheared salmon sperm DNA is widely used as a reagent to block non-specific binding in hybridization experiments. BDL (BioDynamics Laboratory Inc., Tokyo, Japan) supplies high quality salmon sperm DNA at competitive price.
Intrinsic DNase activity was not detected in the product, by the use of pUC18 plasmid DNA as a control.
Boiling for 3 minutes and cooling in an ice bath before use.
- DNA is sonicated and sheared to average size of 300 - 700 bp
- Concentration : 10 mg/mL
- Buffer : 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0), 1 mM EDTA.
- Intrinsic DNase activity was not detected by use of pUC18 plasmid DNA as a control.
- For blocking in Southern / Northern blotting, DNA microarray, etc.
