FluxMPS™ Crystal Violet Staining Solution (Water-Based)
DCP-CVW1X is an MPS-grade, water-based 1% crystal violet stain formulated in Ultrapure Type I water (18.2 MΩ·cm). Filtered 0.22-micron membrane once, this zero-alcohol formulation avoids solvent-induced cell shrinkage and is built for microfluidic-channel-safe staining workflows.

Conventional alcohol-based crystal violet stains carry solvent-induced cell shrinkage, single-pass 0.22 µm filtration, and undocumented nuclease activity. DCP-CVW1X is built for microfluidic-channel-safe, low-background staining workflows.
Microchannel-safe purity
filtration ( 0.22 µm membrane once) removes fine particulates before final packaging, supporting use in narrow microfluidic channels without clogging risk.

QC-released at pH 6.8-7.2, giving reproducible counterstaining intensity across replicate CFU and colony-counting assays.

Low background for imaging & assays

For automated staining stations and robotic liquid handlers, an optional 0.01 µm (10 nm) ultra-filtered variant of this stain can be produced on request to further protect valves and sensors in continuous-run systems.
