Features

A water-repellent seal surrounds a tissue section on a slide to prevent outflow and mixing of reagents such as antibodies and PBS on the tissue specimen.
You can reapply or remove the sticker cleanly (with an easy-to-peel tab) without the hassle of painting and drying like a pen type . It is convenient to put the antibody solution without wiping off the water.
Adhesiveness is maintained even when used at high temperatures (70°C).
*When applying, if air (air) enters, press the air to remove it.

Performance evaluation at a joint research institute

At a joint research institute, we evaluated the performance of the product when used for immunostaining.

Evaluation points

1. Check that the seal does not peel off during the immunostaining process
2. Check that the antibody solution does not run off
3. Attachment and detachment of the seal
4. Reuse of the seal

Summary

The sticker did not come off with the normal immunostaining procedure. There was also no leakage of the antibody solution.
Antibody solution is usually recommended for antibody volume, but immunostaining is possible even with the minimum antibody volume if antibody can be conserved.
The seal for immunostaining can be reused by washing with water.
Since it has a handle, it is easy to remove from the mount.
Normally, wipe off excess moisture from the slide glass before placing the antibody solution on it, but it is not necessary to wipe off the excess water on slides with immunostaining seals because they repel moisture.

Water-repellent seal. The sticker format enclosure prevents leakage and outflow of antibody or buffer solution in immunostaining.
