Description

MonoSpin is a SPE (Solid Phase Extraction) column with monolithic silica (monolith). This is designed for small volume sample preparation by centrifuge. GL Sciences' unique monolith silica technology.

Monolith skeleton coated with titanium dioxide for phosphopeptide enrichment from complex biological samples. Researchers shown that the use of such type of purification is good for a highly acidic environment in the presence of 2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid (DHB), phthalic acid, lactic acid, or glycolic acid. The column shows improved selectivity and significantly reducing unspecific binding of non-phosphorylated peptides.
