Description 

DynaMarker Protein BlueRed is used to continuously monitor the progress of protein separation in SDS-PAGE and to assess blotting efficiency in western blotting without staining.

DynaMarker® Protein BlueRed consist of six proteins, prestained blue and red, ranging in apparent molecular weight from approximately 17 kDa to 90 kDa. Two red reference bands enable easy discrimination. It is suitable for visualizing proteins during electrophoresis without staining and for monitoring electrophoretic transfer onto membranes. The protein concentrations are optimized to give uniform band intensities. The maker is supplied in gel loading buffer for direct loading onto SDS-PAGE without heating or adding reducing agent.

DynaMarker® ProteinBlueRed or MultiColor III is run on a 5-20% acrylamide gradient gel according to the method of Laemmli.

 

DynaMarker® Protein BlueRed and Protein MultiColor III, prestained Protein molecular weight markers, are used to continuously monitor the progress of protein separation in SDS-PAGE and to assess blotting efficiency in western blotting without staining.

These prestained protein molecular makers. DynaMarker® Protein BlueRed is a dual-colored size marker (blue and red). DynaMarker® Protein MultiColor III is a size marker which has five colors (purple, blue, green, red and orange). 

  • Instant band recognition is allowed by because of dual and multiple colors. 
  • These markers offer brilliant and sharp bands.
  • These markers are prepared from highly purified proteins stained by the same degree with brilliant dyes.
  • After coomassie-dye staining, sharp and uniform bands are still observed without extra bands. 
  • These markers are suitable to monitor progress of western blotting without staining.

Comparison markers of prestained DynaMarker® Protein series and other commercial multi-color prestained marker (non-recombinant).

 
Each marker is run on a 12.5% polyacrylamide gel according to the standard method. Markers of prestained DynaMarker® Protein series cover adequate molecular weight range and offer bright-color and sharp bands. Because highly purified proteins in the marker were covalently and stoichiometrically bonded with high quality dye and protein is adjusted to approximate equal amount, after coomassie-dye staining sharp and uniform bands appear without extra bands.

Protocol

1. Thaw DynaMarker® Protein BlueRed completely before use.
2. Load 3-5 μl for mini-gels or more for large size gels.
3. Load your samples.
4. Start electrophoresis.

Note

Covalently bound dye affects protein mobility. Each batch of prestained protein marker is calibrated against unstained standards. A prestained protein marker should be used for approximate molecular weight determination. For precise molecular weight determination use an unstained molecular weight marker.

CBB Staining

Because highly purified proteins in DynaMarker® Protein BlueRed were bonded to high quality dye covalently and stoichimetory and protein is adjusted to approximately equal amount, sharp and clarified bands with uniform intensity appear without extra-bands even after coomassie staining.
